Completed Flagship Coastal Homes
The Lucky House
Flagship Properties renovated this home in 2000 and sold it after completion. New outside porches were added that wrap around the house. Originally the home was built in 1917 on a triangular shaped lot. Extensive remodeling was required which included all new wiring, plumbing, bathrooms and kitchen.
The Showcase House
The "Showcase" house was orginally designed by William Templeton Johnson. This historical home was renovated by Flagship Properties in 2000 and sold in 2002. It served as the San Diego Historical Society's "Designer Showcase House" in 2001. This 4 bedroom home is now a blend of classic architecture, modern amenities and magnificent gardens. C'est Si Bon
Flagship Properties added a 2nd story to this home which was completed and sold in 2005. It is now an "upside-down" home with livingroom, diningroom and kitchen on the 2nd floor. Four bedrooms and 3 baths are located on the first floor. Both the kitchen and the livingroom have outdoor balconies for dining and entertainment.
The Charlie Chaplin House
At one time this home was occupied by Charlie Chaplin. Flagship Properties restored this English Tudor home to it's original beauty. A new wall was added in front as a continuation of a backyard brick wall offering more privacy for the owners. An upstairs attic area was converted into a children's entertainment room and a laundry room area was added. The kitchen was redesigned to include a breakfast room and french doors to the patios.
The Hadley House
Flagship Properties assisted a couple in finding their dream home in Coronado which was this 100 year-old home. However, the house needed extensive upgrading and all new plumbing and wiring. Flagship completed the restoration of this home in late 2005. It is a two bedroom cottage with new kitchen and bathrooms making it a great escape for the family!
Tides Inn II
Originally built in 1916 on a lot that was only 40'by 60', this home was 950 sq. ft. until Flagship added a 2nd story and lots of nautical detailing. It's now a perfect beach house with the living areas upstairs and 3 bedrooms and den downstairs. It was featured in the Spring 2002 edition of Better Homes and Gardens Remodeling Ideas. 905 J Avenue
Flagship added a 2nd story and shingles to this home on the corner of J Avenue and Ninth Street. The living areas are upstairs. The diningroom has steel cabling across its picture window/door much like you might see on a yacht!
Seaside
Flagship Properties built this luxury 6-bedroom home overlooking Sunset park and Coronado Beach. To enhance the views, Flagship undertook a year-long project to underground the utility poles that blocked it's views and those of it's neighbors along the park. The unobstructed views now extend from Point Loma to Mexico.
Bayview
The remodel of Bayview was completed by Flagship Properties in 2007. This Martha's Vineyard style home has stunning views of Glorietta Bay. It includes 4 bedrooms/4 baths, upstairs sunroom, view patio and large garden.
